Terms of Service

By using the ParaPhrase Text Chrome extension or website ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
ParaPhrase Text is a browser extension that rewrites text to sound natural in American English using AI. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
2. Accounts
You must sign in with a Google account to use the extension. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate spam or misleading content at scale.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits through multiple accounts or automated access.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Usage Limits
- Free plan: 20 paraphrases per day, up to 300 words per request.
- Pro / Lifetime plan: 500 paraphrases per day (soft cap), up to 2,000 words per request.
We may adjust these limits with reasonable notice.
5. Payments & Refunds
The "Founding Supporter" lifetime deal is a one-time payment of $29 USD processed via CryptoCloud (cryptocurrency). Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions, all sales are final — no refunds are available. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to Pro features after payment, contact us and we will resolve it.
6. Intellectual Property
You own the text you input and the paraphrased output. We do not claim any rights to your content. The ParaPhrase Text brand, code, and design are our property.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the extension or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
